One of my personal favourite brands is Heineken, partly because they make good beer but also because they continue to evolve their marketing and brand on a global basis. Heineken has been around since the 1860’s, a similar time frame to a long list of brewers that you’ve never heard of. In large part due to the inability to evolve.
Heineken however have managed to stay at the forefront of consumers minds, partly due to having a good product but more so due to successful marketing and establishing a brand that transcends borders, cultures and most other demographics.
