A picture says a 1,000 words, a video says even more again!

Consumers are time poor, content is coming at a rate never

before experienced and therefore it is becoming harder to

reach an audience. If you’re running a digital campaign

make it catchy, short and sweet hooks the attention and

then value add with meaningful content.

Is LinkedIn a valuable platform for B2B Marketing?

With a user base of over 400 million, LinkedIn is fast becoming a must have piece of your marketing puzzle. Especially if you’re working within a B2B market space.

LinkedIn provides an opportunity to network with professionals in an environment where the users expect the conversation and interaction to be business focused, as opposed to popular social media networks where advertisers and mostly interrupting the user experience to promote their product or service. As a free networking tool it is 100% worth establishing as part of your B2B (and beyond, if you have a user base of 400 million the likely hood of you having some of your target audience there is high), if you have the budget it’s also a great platform for targeted advertising spend.

Like most digital marketing options LinkedIn offers advertising programs that cost per click, impression or send. You’re paying per result, not paying then hoping you reach someone.

With all marketing strategies, build a plan, create the content, offer it to your target audience then most importantly review and undertake as much analysis as you can do. It’s an opportunity for B2B marketing that is mostly untapped. Explore it, we cannot recommend that enough.

Welcome Year of the Dog!

On Friday, February 16th 2018 a large portion of the world’s population celebrated the Chinese New Year. Based on the Lunar calendar the celebration various in date each year but typically falls between the 20th of January and the 20th of February.

There are a lot of traditions during the celebration but my favourite is the red envelopes that the children receive with lucky money inside. An age old tradition that has now reached the new age technology era, with a red envelope app that allows the lucky money to be transferred digitally. Talk about tradition adapting to the digital age!

The new year brings a new animal that is represented, the Chinese zodiac operates in a 12 year cycle so every 12th year each of the animals is at the forefront again. 2018 is the year of the Dog. People born in an earth Dog year are known to be communicative, serious and responsible in the workplace. Which is good news for any employers 18 years or so from now.

We hope everyone has a fantastic 2018 and it is full of success and happiness!
